What is Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant integrated into Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It helps users draft documents, analyze data, create presentations, and manage communications more efficiently.
Security-First Integration
Unlike consumer AI tools that may send data to external servers, Microsoft Copilot within our managed environment operates under strict security controls:
- Data stays within your tenant: Copilot respects your existing Microsoft 365 data boundaries
- Access controls enforced: Copilot only accesses data the user already has permission to view
- Compliance maintained: All Copilot interactions are logged and auditable
- No training on your data: Your business data is not used to train Microsoft's AI models
